[VIDEO] ‘The Equalizer’ Sneak Peek: Queen Latifah / Jada Pinkett Smith

To call the relationship between EqualizerRobyn McCall (played by Queen Latifah) and Jessie Cook (Jada Pinkett Smith) “tense” is unpredictable.

However, the duo’s antagonistic satires will look too fun to miss as the CBS drama resumes its second season this Sunday at 8/7c.

In case you missed the news, Smith, who co-starred with Latifah in the blockbuster comedy 2017 Girl’s trip as well as the 1996 hit girl gangster Turn it off, reunited with her real life partner on the broadcast.

Above EqualizerSmith will guest-star as Jessie “The Worm” Cook, a brilliant and prolific thief with a photographic memory who has also been described as immoral, sly, and unpredictable.

Latifah’s Robyn worked on a mission with Jessie in the past, when the CIA recruited thieves for her nefarious gifts. However, because the pair were so philosophically different, they bumped heads and vowed never to work together again.

However, one of Robyn’s essential clients will force the loyal vigilante to break that oath and suddenly need Jessie to help her solve the case.

The Equalizer guest stars, Jada Pinkett SmithAs seen in the clip above, this includes Jessie bragging to Mel and Harry about the time she escaped a robbery at the Louvre on a stolen motorboat, and claiming that “fun” was her only prerequisite.

This of course upsets Robyn, who is critical of Jessie’s priorities, to which Jessie immediately claps her hands in response.
