[VIDEO] ‘Resident Alien’ Season 2 Trailer – Nathan Fillion Returns

Harry Vanderspeigle Worried He’s Becoming Too Human And That can not good for the future of planet Earth. Unless your name is Asta, of course.

In the official trailer for Resident foreigners Season 2 (which premieres Wednesday, January 26 at 9/8c on Syfy), Harry is back in Patience, Colo., and even though he’s returned little Max Hawthorne safely and well strong, he still hasn’t completely given up on his villainous ways and plans for destruction. Not with a long shot.

In the clip embedded above, Nathan Fillion’s telepathic aquarium-dwelling octopus suggests that Many of Harry’s men are sure to arrive soon to complete their mission to destroy humanity. That realization puts Harry in a difficult position because it puts a real friend of his in grave danger. Meanwhile, Asta’s dad reminds her that she’s the only one keeping Harry from wiping them out. (Not presure!)

Also, Harry goes to Times Square and D’Arcy has rad red hair (and becomes suspicious of Asta’s secret), while Sherriff Mike and Deputy Liv move closer to solving Sam’s death, and explore the possibility of extraterrestrials living among them. In addition, Alex Borstein (Miraculous Mrs. Maisel) guest star as Kate Hawthorne’s cousin from the suburbs (have a first look here). But how, exactly, does Harry plan to protect Asta from the “complete extinction event” coming their way? Watch the trailer to find out!

As previously reported, the new season will separate, with Season 1 ending on March 16 and additional episodes in the summer.
