[VIDEO] ‘Inventing Anna’ Trailer: Netflix Shonda Rhimes Show

We would like to introduce you to Invented Annaby Anna Delvey… but we’re not exactly sure who she is, nor is anyone in the new Netflix movie trailer.

In fact, allow us to correct that, politely to Anna: “Anna Delvey is a masterpiece, you bastard!” Julia Garner, who plays her, screams in the video above.

The series, which begins streaming on Friday, February 11, the stars OzarkGarner as the enigmatic (and enigmatic) epitome, who the official diary entry says “stolen the hearts of the New York social scene – and also their money. But is Anna New York the biggest con artist, or is she simply the new portrait of the American dream? ”

Invented Anna is the first series that Shonda Rhimes created for the streaming network (her participation in Bridgerton as an executive producer), and it chronicles a journalist (played by Anna Chlumsky, Veep) who was intrigued by Delvey when she began investigating her antics in the Big Apple. The series is inspired by New York Magazine article “How Anna Delvey fooled the New York Party people – and its banks.”

The series’ cast also includes Laverne Cox (Orange is the new black), Katie Lowes (Scandal), Jeff Perry (Scandal), Arian Moayed (Heir), Terry Kinney (Billion), Anders Holm (Workaholics), Anna Deveare Smith (For the citizen) and Alexis Floyd (Bold Type).
