VIDEOGAME-style footage captured the moment a Ukrainian kamikaze drone slammed into a Russian tank before it burst into flames.
The incredible clip shows the drone rapidly working its way towards its targetswith pinpoint precision before the deadly weapon explodes.
The short video was shared on Twitter by an account linked to Ukraine, which vowed they would keep hitting back until “complete victory”.
It shows the drone catapulting through the air towards an unsuspecting Russian tank in a rural area.
The magazine then stops dramatically just before impact, allowing the accuracy of the hit to be admired.
It then switches to an aerial shot to show more shots of the drone’s impact as ominous smoke billows from the tank.
The caption of the video read: “The special forces of the SBU continue to bomb the occupiers with ‘gifts’ straight from prison.”.”
It’s not clear where the drone strike took place in the footage.
The tweet also boasted that Putin’s men are often amazed by “the accuracy of such surprises.”
Throughout the war, Ukrainian fighters have used relatively cheap drones to wreak havoc in Russia.
However, over the past week they have managed to upset Vladimir Putin with their attacks.
Footage released Thursday appeared to show a Ukrainian kamikaze drone destroying a Russian spy ship after dodging its shots.
The clip apparently indicates that there was a near-attack on the Ivan Khurs, one of Vladimir Putin’s most modern warships, in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko said the unmanned naval drone exploded near the reconnaissance warship, although footage does not make it clear what happened afterwards.
He said it “exploded right off the side of the ship and severely damaged it”.
Gerashchenko said that the Ivan Khurs “was definitely damaged and maybe even on its side”.
According to Russian sources, the ship was said to have been undamaged, but could not provide any proof of this.
A massive explosion then reportedly occurred at a Russian missile depot when Ukraine fired allegedly British-made Storm Shadows.
After the reported impact, a massive fireball eruptedby Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missiles in the occupied port of Berdyansk in southern Ukraine.
It was unclear whether the wave of attacks represented the start of a counteroffensive or a shift in strategy by Ukraine.
