Vegas police investigating sexual assault allegation involving R&B singer Trey Songz – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police said Tuesday they are investigating allegations of sexual assault involving R&B artist Trey Songz at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

In a statement, Las Vegas police said sex crime detectives received a complaint about an incident Sunday involving singer-actress Tremaine Aldon Neverson. Sunday is his 37th birthday.

Officer Misael Parra, a Las Vegas police spokesman, said Neverson is cooperating with the investigation and no arrests have been made. Parra declined to name the hotel.

A representative for Neverson did not immediately respond to messages.

Neverson has had some legal problems in the past. He was arrested in January at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, but criminal charges were not filed after he allegedly got into a scuffle with police over complaints that he was not complying. in accordance with coronavirus protocols and other rules at the AFC Championship match.
