When asked if all the celebrities who went on the show had animosity towards Tom since he cheated on his long-time girlfriend Ariana Madix, Tyler replied: “Well, I don’t think so. I think some people knew.” [about] it and everyone was curious how he was really doing.
“So, I think everyone took him for who he was at that moment.”
The Bachelorette star told The US Sun in an exclusive interview that Tom’s affair was “definitely” the big elephant in the room.

“It was definitely talked about and he talked about it. He was definitely open to anything,” noted Tyler, 30.
TURN OF EVENTS
A lot has changed in the lives of Tom, 40, and Raquel since filming the second season of “Special Forces” earlier this year.
In July, 29-year-old Raquel was released from a psychiatric facility after a reported two-month stay.
She currently lives in Arizona, where she has been photographed running errands and living a quiet life away from her former Vanderpump Rules co-stars.

For his part, Tom still lives with his ex Ariana and has been spotted on several occasions with singer Tii, sparking dating rumors.
On September 9, Raquel shared a video of herself in a botanical garden and said, “I dreamed of a place like this.”
Tom commented on the Instagram post: “Happy birthday Rachel, I really hope you find peace and happiness. I miss you, friend.”
Raquel, who didn’t return for VPR Season 11, then blocked Tom, sharing a screenshot of her story and writing, “Ok bye!”
Tyler responded to Raquel blocking Tom during his interview with The US Sun on September 20.
“I was shocked. I thought he was trying to make it work with her,” he said.
“But there is a good story to watch in the series.”
GET INTO TROUBLE
In the trailer for the new season, the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman can be seen explaining to two former Special Forces agents why he chose the show.
“The whole country is mad at me. “I had an affair and I want to take a beating,” Tom admitted.
Tyler told The US Sun that Tom “got what he asked for.”
“Oh yeah, he’s getting beaten up,” the Florida native said.
“I mean, he definitely gave himself a penalty and the DS (Directing Staff) didn’t take it lightly at all. They chased him.”
Tom also got into a lot of trouble, Tyler revealed.
“He always got us into trouble, but he was always fun to be around.”
“He brought a whole different element to the whole thing, and he’s definitely different, and he was something.”
When pressed for more information, Tyler explained, “The first day [Tom] I got in trouble because we swapped clothes and it was just funny, a little nonsense.
“You know, running to places, being in places we shouldn’t be and so on.”
CHANGED MAN
Without revealing how far he and Tom made it in Special Forces training – every celebrity goes along until they decide to leave or get injured – Tyler confirmed that Tom was “definitely” a changed man by the end.
“I don’t think anyone going on the show wouldn’t do that [changed]” he told The US Sun.
“It made me more motivated, more regimented, more disciplined and so on.”
