SALT LAKE CITY – Utah quarterback Cam Rising pulled the ball for a keeper and ran the ball into the tip zone for his second landing in opposition to the UCLA Bruins.
The Utes hosted the Bruins at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, October 30.
With 14:55 remaining within the fourth quarter, Rising stored the ball on a read-option play. The sophomore quarterback ran the ball 12 yards into the tip zone for six factors.
Rising’s rating was his second of the sport and first on the bottom.
The landing gave Utah a 35-17 lead.
Rising’s run capped an 11-play, 75-yard drive that took 5:04 off the clock.
After the play, Rising was 15/25 passing for 157 yards and a landing. He added 4 carries for 45 yards and a rating on the bottom.
