Urgent warning to millions of Netflix fans – check two hidden settings NOW that could spare you from bill nightmare

Watching Netflix on the go is a great pastime, especially when you’re traveling or commuting.
But if you’re using the Netflix app on your iPhone and Android device, your data could be accidentally consumed if your settings aren’t set up properly.

And if you only have a limited amount of data, that can also lead to a nasty bill shock at the end of the month.
So now check your settings to make sure these two settings are enabled correctly.
How do I stop Netflix from using my mobile data?
Video streaming can consume a lot of data. So if you want to turn it off on Netflix, here’s how to do it.
Open the Netflix app.
Tap your profile photo in the top right.
Go to app settings.
Then Mobile data usage.
There are four options to choose from.
Depending on how limited your data is, save data is a good option because it lets you access Netflix on the go, but the platform cleverly reduces the video quality so you don’t use as much data.
However, if you want to prevent the app from fully using data, tap WiFi only.
This means that the app will not load anything without a WiFi connection. So be sure to download your favorite shows and movies beforehand.
Download Netflix shows over WiFi instead of using data
The Netflix app should be automatically set to not allow downloading shows over data.
However, if you’ve accidentally turned it on and forgotten it before, here’s how to turn it off.
From the same app settings screen as before, search WiFi only and turn it off.
Downloads now only happen when you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network.
