The former Cowboys coach has died of cancer
Former NFL running back and Dallas Cowboys assistant coach Gary Brown died in April at the age of 52.
Cowboys President and General Manager Jerry Jones released a statement on Brown’s deathHe said he has a “big heart coupled with a big smile and big personality.”
“His energy and spirit were contagious. He lit up every room he walked in and touched the lives of those who knew him in such a positive way. Everyone who knew him loved him. He meant so much to the players he coached and the coaches he trained with
“His love for his family, his football and his life was evident every day. He kept fighting and never gave up.
“My family and those of the Dallas Cowboys are heartbroken and our love and support goes out to his wife Kim, daughters Malena and Dorianna and son Tre.”
