“He’s been through a lot”
When asked about the actor’s highly publicized battle with drug addiction, his friend Josh Kennedy replied that he had been there for his famous friend, saying, “We’ve had conversations a lot. But you know, at the end of the day you can.” I don’t control everything.
“Things will just take their course. Unfortunately sometimes it’s just awful.”
“He’s been through a lot, actually before Euphoria. Just problems in general, life issues and getting through situations. It is difficult.”
Josh explained in Oakland that no one treated him as a celebrity as he was more family, with most using his birth name Conor Hickey as his family is from Ireland.
His friend described Angus as “kindhearted” and someone with the widest smile who was always a joker and rarely serious.
“He was a good guy through and through, I can’t say anything bad about him,” said Josh.
