Update in Albuquerque ‘serial killer’ case as ‘prime suspect’ in shooting who was arrested after cops found vehicle of interest

THE SUSPECT in the murder of an Albuquerque Muslim man has been taken into custody, officials say.

The prime suspect was arrested by Albuquerque police.

according to a tweet by the police chief, “Investigators have tracked down the vehicle believed to be involved in a recent murder of a Muslim man in Albuquerque. The driver was arrested and he’s our prime suspect in the murders. We will update the media later this afternoon.”

While investigations continue, the outlet also noted that police are showing up in larger numbers to protect community mosques and local Muslim-affiliated schools.
