Wilkins’ partner Christopher Browning revealed that he saw her and her son looking straight at him before falling to their deaths.

Authorities ruled that Wilkins’ death was a suicide, while Denzel’s death was ruled a homicide.

Browning believes the murder-suicide was “highly premeditated and planned,” according to court filings presented to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

He claimed Wilkins became paranoid months before the horror slump.

Browning said: “I think she had a character breakdown. Things got very unstable.”

And she reportedly spoke about the height required for a potential fall to be fatal.

Browning told police that according to the documents, Wilkins appeared happy on the day of the fall.

Investigators initially claimed Browning and Wilkins had had an argument the night before, but he denied the reports.

Browning said his partner cried.

The Wilkins family claimed their behavior had previously been sketchy.

Browning was “completely shocked” after his girlfriend and son fell to their deaths.

First responders rushed to the scene, but the couple died before they could be taken to the hospital.

Wilkins and Denzel had fallen off the third level of the ballpark.

Attorney Dan Gilleon claimed, “They concluded that she did it [intentionally] but there is no evidence that she did it.”

Gilleon previously claimed police “refused with all their might to explain his murder-suicide conclusion”.

He told the Union-Tribune: “The City of San Diego owns this ballpark, it has legal responsibility provided what brought it down was far from its intention.

“The only way the city isn’t to blame is if they planned to kill themselves and their baby.”

Denzel was reportedly scheduled to start preschool just two days after his death.

Browning said, “I’m grateful for the years I’ve had with him and I’m sure I’ll see him again.”

Petco Park has been home to the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB) since 2004.
