MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An unusually warm pattern continues in South Florida through the final week of 2021.
The highest forecast for Tuesday is 80 degrees with more rolling clouds accompanied by southeasterly winds. Temperatures inland will be at their lowest point in the 80s.
A similar forecast is made for the rest of the week. Then the highs will hit the mid-80s later this week while the overnight lows will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Rainfall remains low throughout the week thanks to a high pressure dome that dominates weather patterns in South Florida, the Bahamas and the Atlantic Ocean.
This high will prevent cold fronts from sliding into the Sunshine State throughout the first day of 2022.
The new year begins with unseasonably warm weather along with sunshine and light winds this coming Saturday and Sunday.
The cold front appears in the first week of the new year. So expect cooler temperatures early next week when peaks will drop back to the mid-70s.
The normal high temperature for this time of year in Miami is 77 degrees.
