UK LIVE weather forecast: Huge storms sweep across Britain while brutal ‘polar air masses’ bring heavy rain and flooding

Solar flare expected to hit Earth TOMORROW
SPACE weather experts keep their eye on a mysterious solar flare.
The flare is believed to be a coronal mass ejection that erupted from the sun on June 26th.
A coronal mass ejection is also known as a CME.
It’s a huge ejection of plasma from the sun’s outer layer, called the corona.
Space scientists aren’t sure if the solar flare will hit Earth, but predict it has a chance on either June 28 or 29.
Experts at SpaceWeather.com explained: “Yesterday, June 26, a bright CME blew away from the Sun’s southern hemisphere.
“The weird thing is that analysts aren’t sure which side of the sun it came from.
“Some clues point to the far side, others to the earth side.
“If it’s an Earth event, it could reach us late June 28 or 29.”
