UK LIVE weather forecast: Britain to be HOTTER than Greece as Met Office forecasts mild 18C sunshine over Easter weekend
BRITS face a mild Easter bank holiday as temperatures are set rising to a sun-kissed 16°C by mid-week.
Temperatures reach the 16ºC inLondonto Wednesday before the bank holiday weekend when the mercury reaches 18°C.
At the same time, temperatures around the Greek port city of Thessaloniki are at a milder 15°C
While Easter may see warmer conditions thanks to an moving high-pressure system, charts from WXCharts also show it could drop to -6C the weekend after.
British Weather Service meteorologist Jim Dale said: “There are two weather systems threatening some rain next week, one at the beginning and one at the end of the week.
“However, temperatures look set to rise on Monday and that should be the trend for Easter.”
