UFOs have disabled nuclear weapons at my top secret base

A FORMER Air Force officer who claims UFOs disabled a nuclear weapons base’s nuclear weapons has accused the Pentagon of a cover-up – and wants to tell Congress the TRUTH.

Robert Salas – who insists he witnessed 10 nuclear weapons being taken offline – said he was “shocked” that US military officials hadn’t investigated.

He spoke after Scott Bray, the deputy director of Navy Intelligence, admitted that Task Force Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) didn’t look at what happened.

Congress held a public hearing on UFOs – or UAPs as they are also known – at which key witnesses such as Bray and Ronald Moultrie, Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, gave testimony.

Salas, who was a captain at the time, said the bizarre incident happened in 1967 when he was the acting commander of a secret underground launch control facility at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

“Nuclear missiles were shut down by UFOs over a period of eight days and these are good documents and testimonies,” he told The Sun Online.

“The key witnesses, including myself, are still alive and able to testify about this incident.

“There is no doubt that I would testify under oath at the inquest and bring documents in the form of audio recordings, letters, etc. with me.”

Salas said he wanted to tell the inquiry what he believes was the US Air Force “cover-up” that took place.

“After the incidents happened we were told not to talk about it, in other words there was a cover-up.

“We were never questioned by the investigative teams about the cause or attempt to find the cause and this was kept secret.”

He said a 1969 report on UFOs did not mention the Malmstrom incident because investigators were not given access to information about it nor spoke to witnesses, Salas says.

“The Air Force has yet to respond to ongoing UFO investigations or incidents I’ve reported — I’ve written about them in books.

“There’s an excessive amount of secrecy surrounding the whole thing. There is a cover-up and there has to be an organized group within the intelligence community to keep these secrets.

“He assured me that wasn’t the case and he had no idea what happened or why.”

Rep. Mike Gallagher asked Bray about the reports of UAPs flying over “sensitive military installations housing our nuclear forces.”

He said, “One such incident occurred at Malmstrom Air Force Base,” and asked the officer if he was aware of it and had any comment on it.

But Bray said data on the incident was not “in the UAP task force’s holdings” and he had only heard informal stories.

Apparently surprised, Gallagher said: “It’s quite a high-profile incident. I don’t claim to be an expert on this, but it’s out there.

“You guys are the guys who are investigating, I mean who else is doing it.”

Salas said he was “shocked because I sent documents and details of my story to the UAP Task Force Inspector General last year.”

When asked by Gallagher, Moultrie, the Pentagon’s top intelligence official, said he would look into the Malmstrom incident.

Bray also showed the briefing incredible UFO footage from two sightings as part of his testimony.

Security officials had to admit that the US military had reported 400 unexplained sightings.

After the hearing, experts criticized the Pentagon for its “appalling” ignorance of UFO sightings over nuclear facilities after admitting ignorance.

Alejandro Rojas, a UFO researcher with the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, said the most worrying fact is the lack of historical knowledge, particularly about nuclear bases – which he described as a “great concern”.

Speaking to The US Sun, Rojas said: “I really thought they were putting their feet up to the fire to get something done, to get rolling, but really none of that. It was more just questions about what this group is going to be like.

“I still have no sense of whether they feel the urgency to actually get things done.”

Rojas said other key takeaways from the historical briefing were confirmation that the Pentagon does not have a downed UFO or any materials from it.

This contradicts what whistleblower Luis Elizondo, who ran the secret Pentagon UFO program AATIP, has previously said.

The news follows claims by a congressman that the US has recovered UFO wreckage.

Rep. Tim Burchett – a longtime advocate for disclosure – told The Sun Online he had been informed by reliable sources that “material” had been recovered from the objects or vehicles reported in the skies over the US.

The Tennessee Republican declined to elaborate further, saying the information was sent to him in a “secret framework.”

“I’ve been told by multiple sources that we’ve recovered some of it [crafts or objects]’ Mr Burchett told The Sun Online.
