UFC was embarrassed after a major live TV blunder regarding the WWE Legend infuriated viewers

The UFC was embarrassed after misspelling WWE Legend Rey Mysterio’s name on live television.
The MMA company introduced celebrity members of the audience at UFC 290 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The camera panned to the wrestling icon, who is known for always wearing her signature mask.
But they accidentally called him “Ray” on the name tag at the bottom of the screen, which was a huge mistake.
TV viewers were furious at the faux pas and demanded respect for his years of service to WWE.
One said: “Disrespectful.”

Another added: “How do you spell that wrong?”
One viewer raged: “OMG that audacity.”
And one commented: “Since the merger they should know better.”
Mysterio was joined by a host of big names in Sin City to watch the epic MMA event.
The 48-year-old Mexican was accompanied in the T-Mobile by former US President Donald Trump.
He was a special guest of UFC boss Dana White and the couple were close friends.
It was an action-packed evening with plenty of thrills, splashes and gore in the Octagon.
Alexander Volkanovski beat Yair Rodriguez in round three of his main tournament.
Robbie Lawler had a dream farewell with a first-round KO of Niko Price.
And Dan Hooker defeated Jalin Turner despite sustaining a broken arm during the fight.
