UFC 270 – Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormier have a fun exchange at the meeting of UFC fighters

Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormier participated in a hilarious exchange at the UFC 270 boxers meeting in California on Thursday.

In episode five of UFC 270 Embedded: Vlog SeriesNgannou sat down to interview commentators Cormier, Jon Anik, and interviewer Megan Olivi.

Before and after the conversation, ‘The Predator’ and ‘DC’ exchanged some friendly jokes and the latter instructed the UFC heavyweight champion never to touch his face.

“Can’t even take this guy down. He’s struggling now. Big guy – 275, 280 [pounds]? It was really a nightmare for me… I know, I did it on purpose. Don’t ever touch my face. One thing you won’t do is touch my face. Please don’t do that. Now, I have to go to the bathroom because you tried to punch me. God bless you,” quipped Daniel Cormier.

Ngannou and £265 interim president Ciryl Gane will top the UFC’s first pay-per-view rankings of the year in a unified bout. Cormier will be commenting on the event along with Anik and Joe Rogan.

Daniel Cormier and Francis Ngannou both beat Stipe Miocic for UFC heavyweight title

Stipe Miocic is arguably the greatest heavyweight in UFC history, winning the title twice and completing four successful title defenses. He holds the 20-4 record of his professional mixed martial arts career to date.

Miocic won 3-2 in their last five encounters inside the octagon, including one against Daniel Cormier and two against Francis Ngannou. England have only faced two opponents since the beginning of 2018.

Light heavyweight champion Cormier knocks down heavyweight master Miocic in the first round at UFC 226 became the second UFC fighter after Conor McGregor to hold two belts at the same time.

However, ‘DC’ lost in the rematch at UFC 241 to drop the gold medal and also suffered a defeat in the triple match at UFC 252.

Meanwhile, Ngannou got his revenge on Miocic for his UFC 220 loss by prematurely ending him in the second round at UFC 260 to become the champion.
