UEFA was expected after to reach the Champions League round of 16 draw today.
Instead of owning their affiliate, Uefa blamed an ‘external service provider’.
Announcing the re-draw on Twitter, they wrote: “Following a technical issue with an external service provider’s software instructing officials on how teams qualify to play against each other, an error occurred. serious incident occurred during the draw of the UEFA Champions Round of 16 of the League.
“Therefore, the results of the draw have been declared void and will be completely re-executed at 15:00 CET.”
One fan jokingly replied: “I’m moving to the Super League. Adios.”
While another joked: “Why do Arsenal fans comment on European leagues?”
A third quipped: “Software? Literally just a guy handing out balls.”

The Manchester United figure was dropped from the face-off against Atletico Madrid in the initial draw.
They even drew Villarreal before that – something they should not have happened because both are in Group F and therefore are not eligible to meet in the round of 16.
