Tyson Fury takes part in Anthony Yarde vs Artur Beterbiev with Bob Arum while the promoter signs the fight deal with Oleksandr Usyk

TYSON FURY sat ringside with Bob Arum as the promoter inked an undisputed title fight deal with Oleksandr Usyk.

The two undefeated champions have been in talks since the New Year for the first four-belt heavyweight unification.

And Hall of Famer Arum revealed a deal could be confirmed by next week, with only a date and location to be finalized.

The promoter is in London to watch Artur Beterbiev, 38, defend his unified light heavyweight belts against Anthony Yarde, 31.

And he sat ringside ahead of the WBC, IBF and WBO title fight with Fury and also sat down with Derek Chisora, 38, whom he defeated in December.

The Gypsy King must have asked how negotiations for his historic union are progressing.

Saudi Arabia has emerged as front runners in hosting the historic title fight, with the boxers negotiating separate deals.

Arum confirmed an agreement to fight is in place, with the date and location to be announced shortly.

Arum told Sky Sports: “I think both fighters have agreed to fight, I think the question is where will the location be.

“Hopefully that will be resolved next week and we will have an announcement shortly.

“If the fight goes to the Middle East it will be sometime after Ramadan and if the fight is in the UK it will be early April.”

Arum has refused to rule out Fury, 34, who is fighting Usyk, 35, on home soil at Wembley Stadium.

But he admitted the prizefighters could be persuaded into the desert, where the most money could be made.

Arum said: “It depends what the deals are and whatnot.

“Some of us would prefer the fight to be at Wembley but again it comes down to money.

“The fighters have a very short career limit and they have to make any money, especially large amounts of money, because in a few years it will not be available.

“I just think it’s going to be a massive fight.”
