TYSON FURY has bought a £20,000 security dog to deter thieves from breaking into his home.
The Gypsy King, 33, has plenty of cash to spend after an illustrious career in the ring, and his car collection shows he’s not afraid to splash the cash.
Fury has now bought a Rottweiler to protect his valuables, home and family.
The world heavyweight champion used Elite Protection Dogs from London – the Ashley Cole company recently bought a German shepherd.
Other dog breeds available from Elite Protection Dogs include Dobermans and Cane Corsos.
The company’s website states: “All of our puppies come from military and law enforcement backgrounds and have generations of experience.
“Guard dogs are fully integrated into family life, both as pets and as working dogs that can respond to the owner’s command or an attacker’s expression of aggression toward a family member.”
The boxer showed off his new dog on Instagram alongside the caption, “Welcome to the team.”
Fury has six children and is keen to offer them the best possible protection as several sports stars have searched their homes in recent months including Cole, Reece James and Mark Cavendish.
The Sun was recently told how Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has spent £40,000 on two guard dogs.
