TYSON Fury believes his alter ego Gypsy King has become a ‘monster’ that won’t let him stop boxing.
The undefeated WBC heavyweight champion said he created an unbreakable superhero.
Fury, 34, said: “I almost feel sorry for the Gypsy King because although I would like him to become obsolete I can’t get away from him.
“He’s a lonely, awful, sad person without the fighting game.
“I created a monster and it’s my fault.”
Fury retired after beating Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April and said he wanted to live a quiet life at home in Morecambe with his family.
But he has since reversed that decision, implying that he would only resign if he was hit or if he sought medical help to escape his alter ego’s demands.
Speaking to Behind the Gloves on YouTube, Fury added: “I want to get out of boxing but I can’t let it go so go ahead for the gypsy king. Maybe there is a doctor out there who can help me because I think I’m going to need mental help to let this thing go.”
