TWO teenagers were killed and another man injured in a shooting that broke out after an argument at a pool party.

Police officers arrived at an apartment complex at around 10:40 p.m. on July 1, which they described as a “chaotic scene”.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the preliminary investigation found “numerous gunshots were fired by multiple individuals in the complex’s parking lot.”

All three victims were transported to hospitals.

Two men, aged 17 and 18, have been pronounced dead.

The third victim, 20, is expected to recover, officials said.

The identity of the victims has not yet been released.

The shooting took place at an apartment complex in north Harris County.

While an exact motive is unknown, officials provided additional information based on the preliminary investigation.

“There was a large group of people, possibly a pool party, that got into some kind of altercation,” Harris County Sgt. Dennis Wolfford told KHOU11.

“Several people fired firearms just outside the leasing office in this complex.

“We don’t know who shot first.

“We have arrested possible shooters.

“We’re still working to find out exactly who fired the shots.”

The investigations are ongoing.
