TWO teenagers are fighting for their lives in the hospital after a double stabbing inside a parking lot in the center of town.
The incident happened at 5:30pm today in Stourbridge, West Midlands, as a result of which police were cordoning off a nearby multi-storey car park.
Paramedics, paramedics and an air ambulance flooded the town center after the double stabbing left the teenagers in serious condition.
Both boys are wearing school uniforms and their ages have yet to be determined.
Police are currently looking at CCTV to determine who is involved and speaking to witnesses.
Residents reported a large amount of police and ambulance presence in the town center this afternoon, Birmingham Live reports.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We are responding to an incident in Stourbridge where two teenagers suffered stab wounds. They are being taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
“We were called shortly before 5:30pm and officers and ambulance colleagues were on the scene. A tether was placed in a multi-storey car park near Ryemarket.”
Police have also appealed to anyone with information or any witnesses to come forward.
“We are studying CCTV to determine who is involved and speak to witnesses. Anyone with information is advised to contact us citing log 3351 dated March 15.”
Four officers remained at the scene in Waitrose with police tape visible.
