Months ago, The Ashley Reality Roundup announced that Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 were merging into one new show.
Now the outlet is reporting that the show will be called Teen Mom Legacy.
Pre-production on the show has begun, according to the website, and two moms who have been on Teen Mom for some time will not be appearing.
According to The Ashley Reality Roundup, the show will star Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, Cheyenne Floyd, Amber Portwood, Leah Messer, Jade Cline, Ashley Jones and Briana DeJesus.

Kailyn Lowry and Mackenzie McKee will not appear.
Ashley Reality Roundup sources said pre-production for the series began in March.
According to the outlet, some filming has been done so far.
Producers from both shows will be working on Teen Mom Legacy.

Sources told The Ashley Reality Roundup the title is just a “working title” at this point.
The insiders noted that this is meant to be a nod to how long the women on the show have been telling their stories.
CAST DETAILS
Sources told the outlet, “Eight girls are filming for the show; whether all of the girls’ segments make it into the episodes or not depends on how exciting their footage is.”
A second production source said: “Everyone agrees that the original series has become dated and forced while the girls are desperate to develop storylines.
“With this format, only the girls with real events in their lives that are film-worthy will make the final cut.”
The same insider added, “The producers hope this keeps things exciting for fans and also for the girls who are filming.”
Referring to Kailyn, 30, and Mackenzie’s exclusion, sources said: “Kail was asked but she turned the new show down.
“But she was asked. Mackenzie was not asked. She was basically ghosted by MTV and [her producers] and was never actually told she wasn’t invited to be on the show.
“They just didn’t answer her and left her hanging.”
Mackenzie’s fate with the network was in question after an incident in which she made a racially insensitive remark online.
The ladies from Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant do not appear on Teen Mom Legacy.
The network is reportedly planning to continue this show for the time being.
A source said of the series, “They’re hoping to really build this one.”
MONEY TALK
The Ashley Reality Roundup reported that Teen Mom Legacy’s ladies are set to take a pay cut.
They should be upset about it.
Sources told the outlet, “The cast will only be paid for the episodes they star in.
“If their voice or picture doesn’t appear in the episode, they don’t get paid, so any episode with girls that are featured, it’s going to be a real hack in their paycheck, especially for the girls who don’t really show much when filming. “
KAIL LEAVES
Kailyn announced in April that she would no longer be appearing on Teen Mom.
During an appearance on Perez Hilton’s Barely Famous podcast, Kailyn revealed, “Teen mom, you know the ratings are really going down for us… I feel like there’s a time when it takes its course and I think so , that’s true of any reality show.”
She then clarified that she had no interest in filming more seasons.
“I don’t think so,” said the mother of four.
“Right now, the way I see it, I just don’t want to.”

She also revealed that she didn’t feel like she was being offered enough money to continue filming more episodes, and that was “part” of her reason for leaving.
Kailyn told Perez that the earnings she makes from her three podcasts combined is more than the salary she gets as a Teen Mom star.
