TWO children are among six injured after a car drove onto a sidewalk and slammed into a cocktail bar.
The chaotic scene took place at the intersection of St. Johns Place and Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights on Wednesday morning. Brooklyn.
According to officials, a car jumped the curb, rammed into a cocktail bar and hit several pedestrians, including two children.
At least six people were injured in the collision, the New York Police Department said.
Firefighters said five people were taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A sixth person who was injured refused medical attention, officials said.


The driver of the white sedan was handcuffed at the scene. Gothamist reported.
It is unclear whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. It was also not immediately clear if the driver would be charged.
Residents staying upstairs from the Two Saints bar told the outlet of their building when the vehicle struck the metal gate.
“It’s just awful. I live just down the block and I just saw this car jump the curb and come down and start helping people who were injured on the street,” resident Jeff Sussman told Gothamist.
“There was a father and two children, and then a woman was trapped between the car and the pole.”
