TWO men have been hospitalized after a stabbing in Glasgow’s East End.
Police say they were called to reports of a disturbance on Haymarket Street in the Carntyne area around 5pm on Friday.
Mercy crews rushed to the scene and the men, both aged 45, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
The Scottish Sun understands the men are still being treated in hospital as their condition is unknown.
It is understood that at least one of the men was stabbed during the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called around 5pm on Friday 5 August 2022 to reports of a disturbance in Haymarket Street, Glasgow.
“Two men, both aged 45, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Officials remain on site and investigations to determine the full circumstances are ongoing.”

Officers were called to Paisley Road West in the early hours of Saturday morning.
