And Thomas Tuchel is hoping his men can do the same against north London opponents on Wednesday.

Arsenal are in dire need of three points, however, as they haven’t scored a single point on the board in their last three games.

But the Gunners beat Chelsea the last time those two sides met at the Blues’ home ground.

Team News

Chelsea are set to host the Gunners without midfield maestro Mateo Kovacic, who sustained an ankle injury in the FA Cup semi-final win over Crystal Palace.

Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi are sidelined with long-term issues, but Ross Barkley could be in contention for a role following his illness.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is grappling with problems of his own as it looks like club captain Alexandre Lacazette will be joining Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney in the treatment room.

However, Takehiro Tomiyasu’s situation looks a little more promising but this game could be a little too early for the Japan international, according to Arteta.
