After securing the first English trophy of the season, The Reds booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals scraped a 2-1 win over Norwich City.

But, Liverpool must now focus on closing the gap between them and Pep Guardiola’s team, which is at the top of the tree.

And for everyone west hams fantastic job so far, the East London club are starting to struggle which was evident in Wednesday’s 3-1 FA Cup exile which will leave the Reds rubbing their hands.

Roberto Firmino was also unavailable with a muscle problem, so the Brazilian needs to be assessed before the game.

And Curtis Jones was stripped as a precaution because he felt a twinge in his thigh, but the Liverpool manager explained “it wasn’t a real injury” so the Englishman should be fit and ready to go.

Angelo Ogbonna is West Ham’s only long-term absentee, but Ryan Fredericks, Vladamir Coufal and Arthur Masuaku were all absent from the FA Cup defeat by Southampton, putting their chances of an appearance in jeopardy.

Left-back Aaron Creswell was also not involved, leaving him with late fitness to do before the trip to Liverpool.
