PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Cold air cavity persists to this day with sunny skies.
I’m surprised that yesterday’s high was only 21 degrees. It felt warmer than that for me being outside yesterday and that’s what a little sunshine will do for you.
That is to say, it will be sunnier today than yesterday, with clear blue skies in the morning and calm winds allowing the morning low to drop below what we were at yesterday morning.
The chilly breeze for this morning is like the temperature with the cool breezes.
Going forward, a warm front will dry out tonight around 7:00pm
This means that overnight temperatures will stay close to 30 degrees before warming up. Wednesday’s highs will be in the 50s (and near 60s).
Wednesday will be the most comfortable day of the next week. While Thursday’s peaks will reach the 60s, showers are expected in the afternoon and evening accompanied by strong winds. Rain turned to snow on Friday morning.
There could be a slight change to sleet on Friday before we get some snow. While sleet to snow sounds scary (and scary) it looks like the impact on Friday morning’s commute will be minimal.
The rest of the weekend looks dry and comfortable
