TODAY Trooping the Color was thrown into chaos when protesters stormed into a marching band.
Armed police dragged the trio out of the mall minutes before the royal family joined the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee procession.
The crown-wearing “idiots” vaulted the barriers and dropped to the ground as the musicians made their way towards Buckingham Palace just after 10am.
Police quickly lunged at the men, taking them to the ground and dragging them sideways and back over the fences.
The protesters are believed to be from Animal Rebellion and are accusing the royal family of “disregarding” wildlife.
People at the scene said the public booed as the activists were carried away and arrested.
Met Police confirmed that “a number of arrests” were made after the group “attempted to enter the ceremonial route” at 10.10am.
Ahead of the drama, the force advised people to avoid areas in central London as most are now busy.
A spokesman said: “The spectator areas in central London for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations are now packed.
“To avoid the disappointment of not being able to enter the viewing areas, please avoid the area.”
