TREVOR Lawrence and Marissa Mowry are the definition of childhood friends.
After meeting again in fifth grade and dating since tenth grade, the two tied the knot in April 2021.

Lawrence, 23, has since established himself as one of the NFL’s rising stars as quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
And while he and Mowry have big plans for their future, for now, they’re focused on living in the moment.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Lawrence explained, “It’s fun to have his person with you through all the different things that we’ve been through. It was cool.
“I know her for a long time … [and] We kind of saw the best and the worst in each other and it was fun.

“It’s been really great just getting to know her better and better. I wouldn’t trade that for anything.”
Now, approaching their second wedding anniversary, Lawrence explained how they’re constantly “trying to do some version of a date night, whether it’s going out or ordering something and just hanging out and having a glass of wine or whatever, just to try to spend this time together.”
Not that it’s always that easy, admitting that “it gets pretty busy during the week and especially when families come into town at the weekend and it gets even busier.
“We’ve gotten better and better at making time, making sure we have time together, and really prioritizing that.”
As for their future, Lawrence and Mowry see children on the horizon.
They’re in no rush to add to their family just yet, though, and Lawrence commented that “we really enjoyed not having the responsibilities of having kids.”
Meanwhile, he said they’re “just enjoying where we are and we want to travel and be able to do all of that before we kinda settle down.”
And they travel, and Mowry recently posted photos from her “annual winter trip,” which included a dog sled excursion.
Making the most of life without kids while they can, it certainly seems Lawrence is making the most of life on the field too.
He recently reached his first Pro Bowl after leading the Jaguars to their first AFC South title since 2017.
Lawrence also won his first career playoff game, beating the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild card round 31-30.
And Mowry was always there to support him, often posting photos from Jaguars games.
The two even took teammates and friends on a celebratory trip to a local Waffle House after their playoff win – and won over even more Jaguars fans in the process.
