Travis Scott was slammed by Kardashian fans for posting a pic with Kylie Jenner to mark the one-year anniversary of the Astroworld tragedy

KARDASHIAN fans have blasted Travis Scott after he failed to acknowledge the one-year anniversary of the Astroworld tragedy.
On November 5 last year, a deadly crowd erupted on the first night of the 2021 Astroworld Festival, a music event founded by father-of-two Travis.

Eight people died on the night of the concert, which took place at NRG Park in Houston, Texas, and two others died in hospital over the following days.
Travis, 31, failed to acknowledge the one-year anniversary on Saturday, instead sharing a cozy mirror selfie of him with girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
The photo was taken on Friday night when mother-of-two Kylie wore the same outfit as the one she modeled at her mother Kris Jenner’s birthday dinner.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder looked stunning in a sparkling black dress with spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline.

Kylie began dressing up as her mother in 1989 after the mother told all her guests to pick their favorite look for the birthday party.
It’s not certain if Travis attended the dinner, but he made sure to take a picture with Kylie that night.
The rapper also shared a picture of a burnt orange sky at sunset, but remained silent on the Astroworld anniversary.
When one person shared a screenshot of his selfie with Kylie on Reddit, others were quick to comment on the thread and weren’t happy.
“A very poor attempt to make us forget what day it is,” accused one person.
Another said: “Disappointing but NOT surprising,” and a third commented: “A year ago people were crushing to death but Travis is walking away.”
A fourth Reddit user fumed, “Yooo is this guy okay?! In the middle of Instagram?! For the one year anniversary of 10 innocent people who died at YOUR concert? F**k Travis Scott.”
Someone else replied and said, “True, but I feel like if he hadn’t A.) posted anything, everyone would say he didn’t care, B.) post something about it, everyone would say it didn’t is real, or C.) post something that random people would say is just another day he doesn’t defend, but there’s kind of no victory.”
And referring to Travis, who was barely in the photo, another said: “Um, no matter how little he saw, the Astroworld concert still happened.”
ASTROWORLD TRAGEDY
At least ten people died and hundreds were injured after getting caught in a crowd on the opening night of Travis’ Astroworld Festival.
Crowds are said to have flocked to the stage as Travis performed at the third annual Astroworld music festival on November 5, 2021.
50,000 spectators turned up for the two-day event, which sold out within an hour of tickets starting in May 2021.
Officials in Texas said the crowd began “pushing toward the front end of the stage” around 9:15 p.m., sparking panic.
They transported 17 people to hospitals, 11 of whom suffered cardiac arrest.
Hundreds more are feared injured, including children as young as 10.
At a news conference at the time, Houston Fire Chief Samuel Pena said: “We’ve had at least eight confirmed deaths. We had dozens of people injured in that event.”
Chief Pena told reporters: “Around 9:15 p.m., the crowd began to push towards the front of the stage, causing panic and some injuries.
“People started falling, passed out and there was additional panic.”
Several people were treated at the scene at NRG Park, where a field hospital has been set up.

Turner called the incident a “tragedy on many different levels.”
In a statement posted to his social media the next day, Travis offered his condolences to the deceased and offered support to local authorities
