Travel chaos as freight train DETAILS between Kent and London causes chaos at St Pancras

A DERAILED freight train caused chaos as it went off the tracks between Kent and London.
The “low speed” incident caused major delays at St Pancras after derailed at Hoo Junction station between Gravesend and Strood in Kent this morning.
One of the train’s wheels was thrown off the tracks, leading to several carriages blocking the southbound track.
The derailment has caused prolonged delays and cancellations for passengers taking services operated by Indochina.
High-speed services from London St Pancras International to Strood are being diverted after Ebbsfleet International.
Network Rail said it would use a “rescue locomotive” to remove wagons blocking passenger trains.
In a statement, they said: “This recovery can be difficult at times, so please continue to check before you travel for the latest information and alternative options.”
Southeast warned that trains bound for the capital “may be delayed or modified shortly”.
