A TRANSGENDER pedophile was reportedly forced to change prison wings after dating a “vulnerable” female inmate.
Sally Ann Dixon was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Lewes Crown Court last month after being found guilty of 30 charges of sexual assault involving children.
The attacks were carried out between 1989 and 1996 when the 58-year-old pedophile was a man named John Stephen Dixon before becoming a woman in 2004.
The monster was then convicted of 30 counts of indecent assault on five girls and two boys between the ages of six and 15.
She is now an inmate at HMP Bronzefield near Ashford, Surrey, the only purpose-built private women’s prison in the UK.
But despite being behind bars for less than three months, Dixon reportedly had to be moved to another wing after starting a relationship with a “vulnerable” inmate, according to the Mail Online.
A prison source said the woman Dixon was targeting had “learning disabilities” and mental health issues.
“The prisoner was vulnerable, so we managed to move Dixon,” the source said.
The source added that Dixon allegedly made “inappropriate comments” about female prisoners and she was “hard to keep tabs on”.
They said: “Dixon has been very open about being transgender. There have been a few instances where it has been reported that she made inappropriate comments to some of the female prisoners and possibly the staff.
“The comments were sexual stuff, flirty stuff. After Dixon was allowed to associate with everyone else, it was very difficult to keep track of her.
“She was told not to go into people’s rooms, but once they open up we don’t have the staff to follow her constantly.”
Although Dixon is incarcerated in an all-female facility, she does not hold a gender recognition certificate.
This is a legal document that can be issued after someone has undergone a medical examination and has lived as a woman for at least two years.
It comes as Sussex police have gotten into a line over gender identity.
Concerns were raised on social media after Dixon was convicted as a woman and sent to women’s prison.
The force tweeted that they will not tolerate “hateful comments” about a person’s gender “regardless of crimes committed.”
But new Home Secretary Suella Braverman soon meddled on the issue.
Braverman urged the force to “focus on catching criminals, not policing pronouns.”
The MP later tweeted: “Sussex Police have done a good job of putting a dangerous criminal behind bars.
“But they are wrong in pursuing identity politics and denying biology. Focus on catching criminals, not policing pronouns.”
She signed #commonsensepolicing.
Sussex Police then did a quick about-face, deleting the old message and issuing a new one saying the public has the right to freedom of expression.
A Prison Service spokesman said: “The safety of women in custody is our top priority. The Attorney General is currently reviewing our transgender policy to ensure it appropriately reflects this.”
HMP Bronzefield has been contacted for comment.
