Newcastle are hoping to sign Real Valladolid ace Ivan Fresneda but the fee they may have to pay is double what the Magpies estimate him to be.

The 18-year-old Fresneda is considered a top candidate and is being watched by several clubs.

The right-back has a contract with Valladolid until 2025 but his deal includes a £26million release clause.
