‘Shambolic’ Chelsea ‘ruins Hakim’ with failed PSG deal
Chelsea have been accused of ruining six months of Hakim Ziyech’s career with the ‘shambolic’ collapse of his loan move to PSG. writes CLIFF HAYES.
SunSport understands that furious Ziyech, 29, even called Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly to ask him to clean up the mess.
PSG branded the paperwork a “class A circus” and a club insider revealed: “The way Chelsea behaved was shameful and disrespectful.

“Chelsea ruined six months of his career. It’s really bad behavior, the club treated this transfer carelessly.
“It’s unacceptable for a club of their caliber but it seems to sum up their current way of doing business.”
PSG insist Chelsea ignored the email containing the initial loan agreement and a series of phone calls, replying 75 minutes later with a false unsigned document.
The Ligue 1 champions also claim the Blues sent a SECOND wrong unsigned document before finally receiving the correct version three minutes after the deadline.
Ziyech’s transfer was then registered at 11:04 p.m. – four minutes after the cut-off point. French league bosses rejected PSG’s appeals for ratification, ruling that there had been an “unjustified delay” in sending the documents to them.
Chelsea deny PSG’s version of events but admit ‘technical errors’ delayed paperwork.
