Former Liverpool transfer guru Michael Edwards is reportedly wanted by FIVE clubs – including Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
The sought-after ex-Anfield sporting director joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2011 as Head of Performance and Analysis.
He quickly rose through the ranks, rising to the positions of technical performance director and technical director – before starting as athletic director in 2016.
He was the man behind signings like Alisson, Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson.
And his acquisitions have helped Liverpool win their first league title in 30 years and reach three Champions League finals in five years.
Now, Edwards’ previous track record of signings for the Reds has attracted a great deal of interest as he becomes a free agent.
According to the Daily Mail, both United and Chelsea are interested in signing him.
Both Premier League clubs are looking to overhaul their recruitment operations this summer.
But they face a battle to secure Edward’s services while three other clubs try to recruit him.
Sky Sports claim that European champions Real Madrid and French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain are interested.
And big-spending Newcastle are also looking to hire him to work with new sporting director Dan Ashworth.

Edwards told Liverpool last August he would not renew his contract at the end of the season as he claimed it was time for a move after a decade at Anfield.
In an open letter to Liverpool fans, he wrote: “I had always planned to limit my time at the club to a maximum of 10 years.
“I loved working here, but I strongly believe in change. I think it’s good for the individual and in a work environment it’s also good for the employer.”
