A TWO-year-old boy was among several victims shot dead at gunpoint in major US cities over a weekend.
Shots were fired after 6 p.m. Saturday at a commercial strip near several museums in Baltimore, Maryland.

One man died in the shooting.
A two-year-old boy was injured, along with a man and woman who were struck by the gunfire.
The boy is stable, but the other two injured victims are in critical condition.
A six-year-old boy was also critically injured in a car accident caused by the gunfire.
Police have one man in custody but it is not known if he is the suspect.
Just yesterday, California experienced its third mass shooting since the Monterey Park shooting that killed 11 people.
Three people died and four others were injured when gunfire erupted at a home in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Police sped to a home in Los Angeles around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, where they found several gunshot victims.
Officers found five people who had been shot at the home just outside of Beverly Hills, California in the Beverly Crest community.
A total of seven people were discovered by authorities with gunshot wounds.
Three of those victims, who were in a vehicle parked in front of the house, died at the scene, police say.
Four others were taken to the hospital, according to police.
Two of the injured are in critical condition, the other two are stable.
Police said the house was a short-term rental property and they were interviewing other residents of the house.
GOLDEN STATE BLOODSHED
Four more people were shot dead in San Diego on Friday night.
Around 8:20 p.m., two victims were hit by gunfire near a tram stop in Encanto, police said.
Bloody T-shirts were seen on the floor, reports KNSD-TV.
The condition of the victims is currently unknown.
Just about an hour later, two more people were shot dead in Bay Terraces.
One victim was shot in the head and the other in the shoulder, the outlet reports.
The victim died with a gunshot wound to the head while being taken to hospital, police said.
Police said they are trying to determine if the two shootings, as well as an incident in Spring Valley, are linked.
Around 8 p.m. Friday, police officers found at least one shell casing in an area of Spring Valley, but they don’t believe anyone was injured in the incident.
ACROSS STATE BORDERS
Gun violence continued in two other US states this weekend.
One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting in Metairie, Lousiana on Friday.
At around 2:45 p.m., police found two men in a vehicle, each with at least one gunshot wound.
One man died at the scene, the other was taken to the hospital.
Police currently have no suspect in custody.
Two other men were shot dead in Richmond, Virginia on Friday afternoon.
Police heard gunshots just after 3pm before finding a man who had been shot.
He was taken to the hospital, where another man arrived with a gunshot wound.


Both men died from their injuries, reports WWBT.
Police are not currently pursuing any suspects.
