Trader Joe’s fan shares her easy shopping recipe so she NEVER buys too much

TRADER Joe’s fans know grocery shopping can quickly become a big race, but you can prevent it from happening with this simple recipe.
Nutritionist Olivia Ashton shares her secret to conquering the Trader Joe’s aisle without going overboard.
“When you open the fridge and realize you have nothing in it, use this recipe to replenish it,” Ashton explain in TikTok garnered more than one million views.
She starts by eating four types of protein: Greek yogurt, pork loin, hard-boiled eggs, and frozen turkey burgers.
“One for breakfast, one for lunch and dinner, one for snacks, and a frozen option to keep on hand,” she explains.
Then she says get three different colored veggies and adds that they can be fresh or frozen. Ashton chose Brussels sprouts, young carrots and cauliflower.
Next, she added two ready-to-eat meals, thankfully Trader Joe’s has a wide selection.
She switched to two sauces and dips and opted for hummus and zhoug. Add additional flavors “so you can mix things up and add variety,” says Ashton.
To finish off the Trader Joe’s ride, you’ll need an extra berry and an instant carb like bread.
At the end of your shopping trip, you should have 13 items to fully replenish your fridge.
