Trader Joe’s brings back ‘absolute best chip’ after it was discontinued – and it’s gluten free

A FAN favorite has been spotted in Trader Joes after being discontinued for months.

A TikToker (@queenoftraderjoes) announced in a video that these previously discontinued chips are back in stock.

Trader Joe’s Salsa Verde Flavored Corn Tortilla Chips were a gluten-free option for anyone wanting a flavorful snack.

Trader Joe’s customers previously raved about the healthy snack on Reddit, with some even claiming the chips were God-sent.

“On two separate occasions I bought a bag of this and ate the whole bag in one go. These chips are so good and yet so dangerous because I can’t help but keep saying ‘Just one more,'” said one user.

“I can not stop. This is the first flavored chip that TJ’s has released and hands down all brands available nationwide…” wrote another.

Previously, the grocery brand had discontinued the chips and even started giving them out for free.

“Turns out the flavor is discontinued and they have a surplus,” the narrator said in a Tiktok video posted by (@traderjoestastingtable).

The Tiktoker was made aware of the grand prize draw via a Facebook group known for promoting free content in the area.

He ended up buying two of the chips and posting the receipt to prove he actually got them for free.

After the video was released, a Trader Joes employee confirmed that production of these chips had ceased.

“I gave away so many of these during my shift at TJS today. We had to ask all customers if they wanted some free chips,” they said.

This isn’t the only discontinued product returning to satisfied customers.

Taco Bell announced that it will be bringing its hearty crunch burrito back to all of its restaurants starting August 3.

Taco Bell Rewards customers got a chance to enjoy their favorite burrito a few days earlier, on August 1st.

The fan favorite was discontinued for three years and was last seen on the menu in 2020.

In March, Taco Bell gave fans a chance to come back between Cool Ranch Doritos’ hearty crunch burrito and Locos taco and the former.
