Tottenham ‘preparing £100,000-a-week deal for Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij as Italians finalize transfer fee’

TOTTENHAM are reportedly preparing to offer Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij £100,000-a-week to secure his signature this summer.

The 30-year-old Dutchman spent two years under spores boss Antonio Conte‘s administration with the Giants of Series A.

And he was an integral part of the team that won Inter’s first Scudetto in 11 years last season.

But De Vrij’s current contract at the San Siro expires at the end of the 2022/23 season.

De Vrij has made 153 appearances for Inter since arriving from Lazio in 2018.

He was also capped 55 times by the Dutch national team.

And he could be just what Conte needs to shore up Tottenham’s leaky backline.

Spurs have conceded 32 goals in 25 Premier League games so far this season.

Their recent form has been a big problem in their quest for the top 4 as they have only recorded two wins in six league games.
