TOTTENHAM must pay at least £34million to defender Piero Hincapie.
The Bayer Leverkusen centre-back is on Spurs boss Antonio Conte’s wish list as he continues his summer spending spree.
Midfielder Yves Bissouma, striker Ivan Perisic and goalkeeper Fraser Forster are already on board as Tottenham take the lead in the Premier League in this transfer window.
And Conte doesn’t stop.
A left center half is seen as an important addition to the squad as the Italians plan for the added demands of Champions League football and a genuine title boost next season.
A move for Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni fell through as the player vowed his future with the Italian side.
Now the 20-year-old Hincapie is on Conte’s radar but he will pay dearly for such a young player.
The Ecuador international has just completed a season in the Bundesliga and is becoming a key figure in the squad.
Leverkusen finished third in the table and will therefore also play in the Champions League next season.
He was valued at £34million by his club after helping his country qualify for the World Cup in Qatar this winter.

Aware of the interest being generated by their youngster, Leverkusen are awaiting several offers this summer, with the lure of Premier League football hard to resist.
Other names Spurs have been linked with include a return for Christian Eriksen.
The 32-year-old Dane spent the second half of last season at Brentford but his six-month contract expired at the end of the season.
