TOTTENHAM have called on social media companies to crack down on racist attacks after Son Heung-min was targeted against West Ham.

The South Korean attacker faced what Spurs described as “absolutely reprehensible” online racism in Sunday’s 2-0 Prem win.

Sub Son scored the decisive goal but his joy was marred by sick comments.

And in a club statement, Tottenham said: “We have been made aware of the absolutely reprehensible online racist slurs against Heung-Min Son during tonight’s game, which was reported by the club.

“We stand by Sonny and again call on the social media companies and authorities to take action.”
