Tottenham ‘agree £17million transfer fee for Destiny Udogie with Udinese’ but the defender will remain on loan in Italy for the season

TOTTENHAM have reportedly reached an agreement with Udinese over Destiny Udogie as a full-back.
The 19-year-old Italian enjoyed a breakout season in Serie A last season, making 35 appearances.

His fine form has attracted the interest of a host of top European clubs.
However, acc Fabrizio Romanoit is Tottenham, managed by Italian Antonio Conte, who won the race for Udogie’s signature.
Spurs have struck a deal worth more than £16.8million with Udinese.
Personal conditions were also agreed with the player.
Udogie won’t join Tottenham right away.
The left-back will join Udinese for the season on loan to further his development.
The Udinese ace will become the second young full-back to join Tottenham this summer.
Spurs also signed Djed Spence, 21, from Middlesbrough.

Spence impressed while on loan at Nottingham Forest last season and helped the old European champions climb back up to the top flight for the first time in over two decades.
The Spurs also added Richarlison to Conte’s offensive lines.
Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma also added much-needed quality in midfield.
Spurs have started the season strongly, topping the table after the first week of play following a 4-1 win over Southampton.
