Richarlison, 25, had given his nation a 2-1 lead during the friendly at the Parc des Princes in Paris, while Manchester United midfielder Fred then kicked the banana away during the celebrations.

On Twitter broke Richarlison’s silence and hit back at the sickening abuse.

He said: “As long as they stay ‘bla bla bla’ and don’t punish, it’s going to continue, happen every day, everywhere. No time, brother!”

In a post-match interview, Richarlison added: “I spoke to (Roberto) Firmino about it and said I think God didn’t allow me to see that because I don’t know what I would have in the heat of the moment can do .

“May this fan be identified and punished.

“It is difficult. You see what happened recently with Vinicius Jr. and now this in a stadium… May this incident teach other people not to do it.”

Before kick-off, Richarlison and his team-mates posed next to an anti-racism banner after Vinicius Jr received a racial slur while playing for Real Madrid in a game against rivals Atletico Madrid.

The banner read: “Without our black players, we wouldn’t have stars on our shirts.”

Chelsea star Thiago Silva expressed “sadness” at the incident, saying: “Football is about supporting your team.

“We try to give everything for our national team. But such gestures are not good for football.”

Brazil’s football president Ednaldo Rodrigues also condemned the abuse of the nation’s players.

“Once again, I come publicly to express my disapproval,” he said. “We must always remember that we are all equal regardless of color, race or religion.

“The fight against racism is not a cause, but a fundamental change to eradicate this type of crime from the planet.

“I insist on saying that the punishment must be more severe.”

Real Madrid also promised legal action after abuse of Vinicius.
