In a recent interview with CBS Sports, Tony Khan said he was happy because MJF is attracting care out of the contest. He added that the AEW star was a “critical” part of the ad and confirmed that he will be signing for a few more years:

“I think that’s great. I encourage it. I think they should keep talking about him because he’s a wrestler, an important part of AEW and has signed here for a few more years. So I thought let’s keep that rumor going because he said Tony Khan:

Khan also commented on All Elite Wrestling signing a number of former WWE Superstars:

MJF is currently feuding with CM Punk in AEW

MJF and CM Punk’s feud is one of the hottest storylines in AEW right now. It begins with The Straight Edge Superstar interrupting the previous person’s commercial, then declines a handshake and walks away without saying a word.

The duo then had an epic promotional battle a few weeks ago, where Punk referred to MJF as “the less popular Miz”.

We haven’t seen them in the ring yet, but we’ll get our first look at Dynamite’s version of Holiday Bash tomorrow night. MJF and FTR will collaborate with Sting, Darby Allin and CM Punk.
