Tom Brady reveals exactly when he will start his job at FOX Sports after inking a $375 million deal

NFL legend Tom Brady is taking a breather.

After 23 seasons, 20 with the New England Patriots and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady announced on February 1 that he would be giving up his cleats “forever.”

With his retirement from the sport finally confirmed, attention quickly turned to his next move.

Last summer, Brady agreed to a ten-year deal with FOX Sports reportedly worth $375 million.

However, questions had since arisen as to whether he would ever actually decide to break into the world of broadcasting.

Speaking to Colin Cowherd on FOX Sports’ The Herd Monday, Brady announced that he would indeed be entering the world of sports broadcasting starting in fall 2024.

In more than a year, Brady can decompress what he admits is “important” while also “catching up on other parts of my life that need some time and energy.”

He explained: “You’re on this really crazy kind of treadmill, hacking the hamster wheel for a long time, loving the moment, loving the journey, and at the same time it’s a daily struggle, just like you.

“And I appreciate so many people who are so committed every day to showing themselves to be their best in their lives and careers.

“And I think for myself, I want to be great at what I do.”

To become an all-time great in yet another area, Brady plans to “take some time to really learn how to be great at what I want to do,” and goes on to say he wanted to make sure he did it doesn’t “jump into anything.”

As a seven-time Super Bowl champion, his insight into the game has the potential to be notable.

Brady hopes to emulate the success of other NFL greats to get on the airwaves, like Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan and Troy Aikman.
