Tom Brady can still retire from the NFL and make a surprise return since the ownership deal with the Las Vegas Raiders is not yet finalized

TOM Brady could potentially return to the NFL this season – if the GOAT was so inclined.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner, 46, ended his career in February after 21 seasons in the league.
Brady confirmed his retirement was “final” this time, after reversing a similar decision in 2022.
The former New England Patriots star has been linked to a surprise return to the New York Jets after Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 1.
Brady appears to be happy in retirement and has expanded his business portfolios on both sides of the Atlantic.
He is set to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders after joining the franchise in May.

Per NFL NetworkBrady’s purchase of a minority stake in the organization has yet to be completed.
Every limited partner in an NFL team must be approved by a three-quarters majority of the owners.
Buying a stake in a team would “prevent Brady from playing again – for the Raiders or anyone else – under recently updated league bylaws,” the report said.
But until executives can vote at the next Fall League meeting in October, Brady is technically able to come out of retirement.

The GOAT has previously ruled out that possibility, insisting his playing days are now behind him.
Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million broadcast deal with FOX Sports last summer.
He spent much of the summer vacationing with his children and was dating his new girlfriend Irina Shayk following his divorce from Gisele Bundchen last October.
Brady told Sports Illustrated: “I’m sure I’m not going to play anymore, so I tried to make that clear, and I hate to keep saying that because I’ve told people that many times.”
“But I’m looking forward to my job as a broadcaster at FOX next year.
“I’m excited about the opportunity ahead with the Raiders and we’re in that process, along with the other various things I’m involved in professionally and in my personal life.”
“Just spending as much time as possible with my kids and watching them grow up and supporting the different things that they do. This is a very important task and I take it all very seriously.”
