Today’s Jenna Bush Hager breaks out after Hoda Kotb slips and mispronounces an A-list actor’s name in an awkward live TV clip

IN an awkward live TV segment, Today Show host Hoda Kotb slipped up and mispronounced the name of an A-list actor.

Jenna Bush Hager laughed at the blunder when they interviewed Reese Witherspoon, who stars in an upcoming movie starring Ashton Kutcher.

On Monday’s show, Jenna and Hoda welcomed Reese to talk about their upcoming Netflix movie, Your Place or Mine.

“Our first guest needs no introduction. You know her. You love her. You want to be best friends with her. It’s Reese Witherspoon,” Jenna said.

“And Reese is making all of our rom-com dreams come true in her new movie, Your Place or Mine.” And she’s alongside Ashton CUT-cher,” Hoda said.

“Uh, Kutcher,” she corrected herself.

Jenna broke out about Hoda’s mistakes before they previewed the film.

The film is set to be released on the streaming platform on February 10.

Reese spoke about not knowing Ashton very well so they met before to become friends.

However, she is friends with his wife Mila Kunis.

Your Place or Mine is a new movie set to be released just before Valentine’s Day.

It tells the story of longtime best friends Debbie (Reese) and Peter (Ashton).

Her life changes forever when she decides to pursue an acting career.

As a single mother, Peter volunteers to look after her teenage son.

They swap lives and houses for a week and realize that what they think they want may not be what they really need.

Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Tig Notaro and Steve Zahn also star.

This isn’t the first time there’s been a problem between the hosts and an A-list guest.

Back in January, Jenna was attacked for speaking out about HGTV stars Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott, the Property Brothers.

They stopped by the show and spoke to Jenna and co-host Hoda.

In the video, Hoda asked Jonathan Scott who makes the decisions in his relationship with actress and musician Zooey Deschanel.

Chaos ensued as both Hoda and Jenna talked about Jonathan as he answered the question while they chimed in.

He struggled to say a word while explaining that it depended on the subject.

“Music music?” Jenna asked at one point during the conversation, with rapid back-and-forth that angered fans.

The clip, posted to the official Today with Hoda & Jenna Instagram account, drew the ire of fans who were fed up with the interruptions.

One particularly disgruntled viewer said: “These are the damn interview techniques that make me NOT watch Hoda and Jenna. Can we please please please stop this tech it’s so annoying!!!!”

The fan raged: “They get a guest in there [sic] or they are showing products and they are speeding through them so fast you can’t even understand or see it, just take your time with people and stop constantly talking over and over and over and under your guests!! !!!!”

Another viewer slammed Jenna and Hoda, asking, “why do you even have guests on the show if you’re talking about them/interrupting them?”

A third commenter further fumed at the hosts: “Ask a question and then don’t let them answer by always talking about them!! So over it!! So annoying!!!!”
